Dungeon Quest Reborn Getting Started
A first-session route that does not assume promo codes or lucky Ultimates.
Dungeon Quest Reborn drops you into a shirtless lobby with a Bronze Dagger or a starter wand and a timer on every hallway. The game is free, the Place ID is 77649408247578, and the first hour decides whether you reach Winter Outpost with a real weapon or with a cursed mix of Health and leftover Commons. This page is that hour.
Join from the official Roblox listing. If the title does not include Dungeon Quest Reborn, you are in the original Voldex experience and this route will not match.
Minute 0–10: one class, one stat
Roles are not locked character select screens. You become a Warrior, Mage, Healer, or Tank by where you put skill points and which gear you equip.
- New solo players should start Mage. Range keeps you off the Sand Giant’s slam, and Spell Power makes starter heals actually heal.
- Start Warrior only if your first chest is already a physical weapon you like and you are comfortable standing in melee.
- Do not start Tank for solo. Sportskeeda and creator tips agree: Health stacking without a group is a slow clear.
- Healer is a group job. You can slot Chain Heal on a Mage; you do not need a full support spread at level 1.
Put every early point into Spell Power or Physical Power. Hybrid spreads feel “safe” and then fail the Hard timer. Resets cost Gold — Kwil Extra burned tens of thousands swapping after a bad drop. Read controls so Q and F are bound before you enter the first room.
Minute 10–40: Desert Temple as a classroom
Create a dungeon, pick Desert Temple, start on Easy. You are here to learn rooms, not to hunt Legendaries.
- Warrior Easy: Bronze Dagger plus Whirlwind is enough to learn packs.
- Mage Easy: starter wand plus Fireball (or Blue Fireball) is enough.
- After one clean Easy, go Medium, then Hard. Insane and Nightmare wait until you have spare points and a heal.
The full room notes, Sand Giant tells, and ability drops sit on the Desert Temple walkthrough. Do not toggle Hardcore yet. Extra loot is worthless if a wipe deletes the run — see Hardcore.
Upgrade one weapon you will keep. Four tiny upgrades on a Common you will vendor is how Gold disappears. The gold farming page explains the sink; the short version is: upgrade the piece that shortened the last clear.
Minute 40–60: dailies, then stop shopping
There are no promo codes. After you have a Medium or Hard clear, claim daily rewards so the chest is not stuck on Easy Commons. Creators describe about two claims per day; trust the NPC timer.
Skip the Gold shop until you have read gamepasses. Some boosts can be bought with Gold. That does not mean you should buy them before Winter Outpost. Favoriting the experience and finishing lobby quests is cheaper XP than a panic pass.
What “good” looks like at the end of hour one
- One damage stat, not a rainbow of Health + Physical + Spell.
- A Desert Temple weapon that matches that stat.
- At least one AoE (Whirlwind or a Mage spray) and a plan for the Sand Giant.
- Daily claimed on the highest floor you actually finished.
- Gold still in the bag for the next dungeon’s weapon, not a full respec.
If your inventory is all Warrior while you stacked Spell Power, you have a cursed set. Either swap the gear or pay the reset — do not keep fighting the Sand Giant with the wrong scaler. The stat planner is the checklist for that decision.
After the first hour
Winter Outpost unlocks in the low 30s on current public routes. That is when Fire Bomb and better armor show up. The Winter Outpost walkthrough is the next dungeon page; use how to level up so you do not sit on Easy after Medium is free. When drops start looking like Enchanted Forest or Northern Lands, jump to the Enchanted Forest walkthrough and the weapon tier list instead of guessing.
Play with up to three other people. Four-player dungeons are the intended endgame, and bosses are tuned for split aggro. The party guide covers LFG. Solo is fine for learning; it is a worse teacher for Healer and Tank jobs.
If a patch adds a redeem box, it will be listed on the codes hub. Until then, this first hour is the entire onboarding.
