Dungeon Quest Reborn Controls

Dungeon Quest Reborn uses a small input set on purpose. You are not juggling a twelve-button action RPG; you are clearing hallways on a timer with four ability slots. Sportskeeda’s August 2026 beginner article lists the PC defaults. Creators who loaded Reborn (Elite_Elias, Kwil Extra) also called out that the revival restored four slots instead of the cramped older bar some players remembered.

Learn these binds in the lobby before Desert Temple. A missed heal on the Sand Giant is usually a missed key, not a missing Legendary.

Camera is standard Roblox: right mouse to look, scroll to zoom. If your character spins while you try to aim a ground slam, rebind nothing until you finish one Easy clear — most “broken camera” tickets are just first-session mouse accel.

The table shows two ability keys because that is what the published beginner guide documented. The loadout itself has four slots. Extra abilities are still fired from the on-screen skill bar (click or the additional key the live Settings panel lists). After every patch, open Settings once; Delta Quarters OG can add a key without a marketing post.

How abilities actually fire

• Slot a matching class ability. A Mage heal on a Warrior weapon is a wasted GCD.
• AoE first on packs (Whirlwind, sprays), single-target on the boss (Slam, a heavy spell).
• Heals are abilities, not potions. Chain Heal is the short-cooldown solo default; Universal Heal is slower and better as a panic button.
• Speed skills are meta for timed floors. If a movement ability drops, keep it even if the damage looks low — the ability tier list explains why.

Do not bind jump to the same key as an ability. Hardcore wipes start with accidental jumps off pads.

Mobile and console

On mobile, movement is the left stick, attack is the right button cluster, and abilities are the skill orbs around the attack button. Tap targets, do not swipe through them — Reborn’s hallways punish walking into telegraph circles. Landscape is easier for four orbs than portrait.

Console uses the Roblox gamepad map. If an ability orb does not light up, the slot is empty, not broken. Open inventory and drag a skill in before you blame the controller.

Scripts that auto-press skills exist. They also violate Roblox rules. This page will not tell you to bind an executor.

Combat hygiene that is really a control issue

• Attack-move into packs, then Q. Standing still to click every peasant is how Easy timers expire.
• Do not hold sprint into boss circles. Jump is for gaps, not for dodging every slam.
• Keep the cursor off UI when you need a panic heal. Inventory is a wipe on Hardcore.
• Party play: you can be four in a dungeon. Ping with movement; voice is optional. The server itself holds up to 40 in the lobby.

Settings worth touching once

• Graphics: drop shadows if rooms stutter. Timer deaths are still deaths.
• Shift lock: useful for Warrior facing, optional for Mage kiting.
• Music versus SFX: boss audio tells matter more than the lobby track.

You do not need a custom UI pack. If a video shows extra ESP boxes, that is a script, not a setting.

Practice routine (five minutes)

1. Join from links.
2. Stand in the lobby and press Q, F, and the two extra slot clicks until muscle memory exists.
3. Enter Desert Temple Easy with no Hardcore.
4. Only basic-attack the first pack, then add one AoE, then add a heal.
5. Leave and write which slot felt slow. Rearrange the bar so the panic heal is the easiest tap.

After that, go back to the getting started route or jump into how to level up. Controls do not earn XP; they stop you from wasting the XP you already earned.

If a patch remaps keys, this page will change the table. Until then, WASD, click, Q, F, and four filled slots are the whole language of Reborn.
