Dungeon Quest Reborn Warrior

Melee DPS that wins when the weapon, the shout, and the points all say Physical.

Warrior Build

Warrior is the Physical Power path in Dungeon Quest Reborn. You stand close, you spin packs with Whirlwind, you slam bosses, and later you live or die by Enhanced Inner Rage. It is not the easiest first hour — Mage kites more safely — but it is the path that matches most “big sword” screenshots in the lobby.

If your bag is already full of staves, open Mage instead of forcing this page.

Stat plan

Dump Physical Power. Do not sprinkle Health “to be tanky” unless you are actually building Tank. A Warrior with half Health and half Physical loses both jobs. Use the stat planner if your current sheet is messy.

Respecs cost Gold. Farm it on a floor you finish — gold farming — before you flip from Mage.

Weapons

Hour one: Bronze Dagger, Spiked Club, whatever Desert Temple steel matches Physical.
Mid: Winter Outpost swords.
Goal: Eden’s Vengeance (Enchanted Forest Ultimate) per Pro Game Guides, with Eldenbark Greatsword as the legendary stopgap. Full names live on the weapons tier list.

Upgrade one keeper. Four Commons with one upgrade each is how Warriors go broke.

Abilities

  • Whirlwind — farm it on Desert Temple Easy and keep it.
  • Slam / Ground Slam / Fire Bomb — boss tools. Fire Bomb is an Outpost celebrity that Warriors happily steal.
  • Enhanced Inner Rage — S-tier later. Nightmare Enchanted Forest is the PGG farm tag.
  • Battle Shout — party value.
  • Speed skills — timer insurance.

A heal on a Warrior only works if you somehow stacked Spell Power, which you should not. Rely on a Healer friend or stay on difficulties you can dodge. See the ability tier list.

How a Warrior clears rooms

Walk in, clump peasants, Whirlwind, basic-attack leftovers, move. Boss: save Slam for the window after a stomp. Do not open inventory during telegraphs — Hardcore will not forgive it.

Melee means you eat more slams than a Mage. That is expected. Glass-cannon Physical with zero dodge practice is how Sand Giant clips you. Jump is not a defensive cooldown; learning the pattern is.

When to play Warrior

  • Your drops are physical and you refuse to vendor them.
  • You have Gold for a reset and a matching set.
  • You like melee and you have a group heal for Nightmare.

When not to play Warrior:

  • First ten minutes with a starter wand in the bag.
  • You want to solo-heal yourself through Nightmare without Chain Heal.
  • You think Tank armor plus a sword is “Warrior.” That is a confused Tank.

Party role

In a four-stack, Warrior is boss damage and pack collapse. Let the Mage cover range pockets. Do not both chase the same stray peasant. Call Hardcore only if the Hardcore guide says the floor is already free.

Next clicks

Getting started if you have not left the lobby correctly. How to level up once Desert Temple is boring. Class hub if you are still unsure. There is no Warrior code. There is only Physical Power and a sword that says so.

Inner Rage and the Insane wall

Pro Game Guides treats Enhanced Inner Rage as mandatory from Insane upward. That is the moment Warrior stops being “the class with Whirlwind” and becomes a buff manager. Until Rage drops, you win with clump-and-spin and a slam. After Rage drops, you protect the buff the way a Mage protects Inner Focus. Do not auto-sell it. Do not overwrite it with a new Common because the icon glows.

If Rage will not drop, farm the dungeon PGG tags (Enchanted Forest Nightmare) with Hardcore only after the floor is already free. Extra chests help. Extra wipes do not. Pair the farm with daily rewards on that same floor.

Warrior is a commitment. Make it when the steel in the bag is already telling you to.
