Dungeon Quest Reborn is free to play. You can finish dungeons without paying. The Shop still tries to sell you time. Some of those products are Roblox gamepasses. Some are Gold sinks that look like passes. A few are cosmetics that do not add Physical or Spell Power. This page is how to read the modal instead of buying panic.

Gold first, Robux second

Creator guides in August 2026 — including the embedded 10-tip video — stress that Gold is the real early currency. You earn it from clears, bosses, quests, and daily rewards. You spend it on:

• Weapon and armor upgrades (highest priority if the piece matches your class).
• Skill resets when you accidentally hybridized stats.
• Optional Gold-priced boosts in the Shop.

Robux is only for products that the live modal marks as Robux. This wiki will not invent prices. If VIP is listed, tap it and read every bullet. If VIP is missing, you are in the wrong Place or a UI A/B test; leave and rejoin.

There are no gamepass codes. A string that “unlocks VIP” is a scam.

What is actually worth buying (decision order)

1. Nothing, until Desert Temple Medium is trivial.
2. A keeper weapon upgrade, not a pass — see gold farming.
3. A luck or drop boost only if you already farm a floor whose table you care about (weapon tier list).
4. VIP or convenience passes only after you like the game enough to stay a month. Extra storage or QoL can be real; extra damage is usually a lie unless the modal says so.
5. Cosmetics / Gems last. They do not beat Nightmare.

If a pass claims “instant Legendary,” it is marketing. Legendaries drop from dungeons.

How to buy without getting lost

1. Join the official experience.
2. Open Shop / Gamepasses from the lobby HUD.
3. Tap a product. Read currency, duration, and whether it is account-wide.
4. If it costs Gold, compare it to one weapon upgrade of the same amount.
5. If it costs Robux, check the Roblox purchase sheet so you are not double-charged.
6. After buying, confirm the buff icon in-dungeon. If it is missing, you bought a cosmetic.

Mobile and PC share the account. You do not need a second purchase on phone.

VIP specifically

VIP names change (VIP, VIP+, founder bundles). Benefits might include cosmetics, extra storage, or a small farming perk. They will not replace stat points. If the modal does not list a combat effect, assume it has none. Do not buy VIP to “unlock Desert Temple” — the dungeon is free.

After you buy

Go run a dungeon. A pass that sits in the lobby is a donation. Pair luck boosts with daily rewards on your highest floor. Pair XP boosts with a difficulty you can finish, not with Nightmare wipes.
